Gerd Angelkorte

D.Sc. candidate of the Energy Planning Program – PPE of COPPE / UFRJ. He is a researcher at COPPE / UFRJ's Center for Energy and Environmental Economics (CENERGIA) in the area of modeling of the agricultural sector and land use, where he has already developed researches for institutions such as Greenpeace and BID. He has a master's degree (MSc.) In Energy Planning – PPE of COPPE / UFRJ, working on the development of agricultural technologies and land use for integrated assessment models. In 2019 he defended a dissertation titled "Modeling of the Agricultural Sector Within a Brazilian Integrated Analysis Model". He holds a specialization course in Environmental Engineering and Quality Indicators from the Cândido Mendes University and is an Environmental Agricultural Engineer graduated from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), where he has developed researches on the efficiency and physico-chemical characterization of biofuels in the Laboratory of Rheology (LARE), Termociências (LATERMO) and Agricultural Machinery (LABMAQ).
