Fabio Diuana
Postdoc
Mr. Fabio Diuana is currently a Postdoc researcher at Cenergia in Energy Planning at COPPE/UFRJ. He graduated with a Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering and completed his Masters and Doctorate degrees both in Energy Planning, both from COPPE/UFRJ. His MSc dissertation evaluated the impacts of growing wind power penetration in the power system while his DSc thesis developed a model conversion and a spatial analysis of the cost to cultivate in Brazil . He has been working with the Cenergia lab’s research team in several projects regarding energy transition scenario and climate mitigation and impacts. In 2018 he spent 6 months at IIASA researching and developing on computational tools and methods about Integrated Assessment Models regarding the water-energy-land nexus.
