Fábio da Silva

Fábio da Silva is a Dsc candidate in energy planning at COPPE/UFRJ. He has a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters degree in Energy Planning. He developed his dissertation on the potential benefits of torrefaction and pelletization of residual biomass for the supply chain. His doctoral thesis focus on alternative activities for the Brazilian coal industry related to climate change mitigation. His research interests are also biofuels production and negative emissions technologies.
